It is about gaming and the internet. More specifically, I'm interested in the concept of play and all its variations across certain contexts: gamification, childhood games, language games and most importantly computer games. I'm also interested in the so called Web 3.0, the internet of things, semantics and all the connections and intersections between web and social sciences.
I'm a philosophy student and plan to write about these subjects. Of course I don't plan to provide all the content of the blog. I will mostly be linking to the content I discovered that I believe to be relevant to the issues I mentioned just now. But I also want to post my own ideas, which is difficult to do on a regular basis. We will see.
This is a blog that aims to provide content and a place for discussion for those who are interested in gaming and internet. There are tons of blogs out there who just does this. But I want this one to be mainly focused on the content that is directly relevant to social sciences (philosophy, sociology and so on).
